Our Millinery Stylist Amelie Cunningham

Amelie began her interest in the fashion world when she first attended the fashions on the field at age 1.  Styled in a lovely ivory knit ensemble, co-ordinated with mum and dad, we won the best dressed family in 2008 which was the largest ever prize ever awarded in the fashions on the field history at the Australian Jockey Club.   The prize included an amazing trip to Beijing for the 2008 Olympic Games all expenses paid along with thousands of dollars in additional prizes.

At age 2, Amelie entered the fashions again in a lovely dusty pink ensemble and at age 5, entered the Myer Fashions on the Field at VRC in the Melbourne Cup Carnival in a colourful ensemble designed by Angela Menz with a beautifully co-ordinated rabbit ear headpiece designed by mum.  However, it was her personal styling that made her into the top 10 in 2014 VRC Melbourne Cup Carnival and a half page spread on page 3 of The Age newspaper Sunday edition.  Her outfit included a Bardot black and white stripe dress and matching tailored jacket with black lace top hat along with red accessories adding that touch of chic.  All styled and carefully selected by Amelie making her the youngest and most talented fashion stylist of her generation.  A great asset to the millinery profession!
